INTEGRATION ARCHITECTURE REDESIGN
Our banking and finance client had BizTalk server 2013 R2 on a SQL Server 2012 back-end.
They had a poorly designed architecture handling heavy nightly B2B transaction data feeds. This led to constant throttling and was causing critical delays in client transaction updates.
We provided a tight budget approach to correcting the architectural deficiencies with minimal impact by introducing an EAI structure in a phased approach and thus removing existing cyclic dependencies. This allowed us to monitor system-wide impact both on the back-end and front-end much more correctly using our specialised SQL server monitoring tools as well the BizTalk BHM tool with careful performance monitors.
We were also able to fine tune the SQL layer and optimise disk I/O to deliver a fully performant solution without the need to completely decommission and upgrade the existing system at full cost.
CUSTOM INTEGRATION SOLUTION AND DATA OPTIMISATION
Our global retail client was in the process of a major data centre switch-over. With all their core data systems on SAP, they wanted a company that could integrate SAP with BizTalk server 2016 and guide them through the intricacies of setting up and working with SQL database clusters side-by-side with their existing systems in a primarily Oracle-based backend setup.
They had already tried and failed with one set of consultants. We were able to salvage the project and complete their integration process.
We helped to define their sequential data extract requirements between their SAP systems and their file-based data storage solution based in the Boston. We helped the client setup their SQL server clusters and their high availability BizTalk Server integration solution for high performance, meeting the time-sensitive nightly extraction SLA requirements for data dispersed to and from over 5,000 global stores each morning.
We established a cost-effective support agreement and provide 24/7 second-line support.
INTEGRATION SERVICE FACTORY IMPLEMENTATION & TRAINING
Our transport client wanted us to help design an integration solution to move complex OTA data between their global hubs efficiently, quickly and cost-effectively. They had been thinking of a service factory solution but had not been able to get the design and architecture finalised.
We created a hub and spoke service factory design and simplified their complex OTA schemas into a clean, abstractable canonical data model that meant data exchange could be less bulky and efficiency would be vastly improved.
We also helped identify the different ways the engine development could be achieved and delivered a Microsoft reviewed and approved architectural processes and development life-cycle processes guide for the entire organisation. We developed a process map for product team on-boarding including quality assurance processes and documents and we also provided an integration workshop for key delivery staff.
